Hey animal lovers!
We wanted to update you with a few things we have been working hard on lately.
One big update we have is our website. We have updated our website with a fresh, new look to include easier navigation to what's most important to you as an animal rescuer/lover/parent/supporter/taxi driver. If you take a look at our site you will find an easier way to recommend a shelter animal for sponsorship, a sign-up form to become a transport volunteer, how to apply for our transport grant, ways to donate and all of our great Ruff-ipes!
We have also been actively trying to help rescue shelter pets throughout the U.S. and can certainly use some additional financial sponsorship in our efforts. To make a tax-deductible donation you can use PayPal and send a donation to ruffugees@gmail.com or you can start a Facebook fundraiser and get your friends and family in on the fun of donating to our organization.
Finally, we have been working on lots of great events for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons. First, we will be at the Norfolk Tides Bark in the Park event on Sunday, April 14 at 1:05 pm in Norfolk, VA. If you are in the area, grab a ticket and your dog and come visit us for a great afternoon of fun! We are also working on two adoption events for April and July in the greater Hampton Roads, VA area.
