The Ruffugees Foundation is a volunteer-run, federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017.
 

Our mission is to help homeless animals reach health and safety through funding, fostering, and transportation. We work directly with shelters, rescues, and community caregivers to give vulnerable animals the care and opportunities they need to survive and thrive.
 

Across the United States, millions of animals face homelessness, illness, hunger, and overcrowded shelters. We believe every animal deserves compassion, medical care, and the chance for a safe home.
 

The Ruffugees Foundation supports this mission by funding critical medical services, providing food and supplies, supporting trap-spay-neuter (TNR) efforts to reduce overpopulation, and helping transport animals to foster homes and adoptive families. Through these efforts, we help rescue animals from unsafe situations and guide them toward recovery and permanent homes.
